Warmer

We saw in the new year with dear friends Dave and Alan and Ozzy (the dog). Being together on this day of the year has become an established tradition at this stage (we talked about it, and reckon this is the seventh year in succession -- and still the invitation is renewed!).

We the usual terrific night. Gorgeous food (Italian this time, including Dave's home-made pasta), loads and loads and loads of wine, good conversation, camaraderie, and the now traditional session of charades. It was close to 7.00 am by the time heads hit pillows. Dublin Shooter was enjoying himself so much that it was only at the last minute that he realised he was blipless, and it was almost midnight. So a mad dash outside into the snow and then back inside into the warm cosiness finally produced this shot of the suitably festive wine warmer which was part of the table decoration.

Thanks a heap, guys, for another brilliant New Year's Eve.
