Mostly ok.....

I think this is the seed head of a plantain, I'm not sure
It's not very exciting, but I liked its subdued and almost apologetic appearance.
There were quite a few in the grass alongside the more flamboyant buttercups
and the prim little daisies.
But this caught my eye today.
My day has been a bit like that,
Subdued and ordinary and not very exciting,
But, another step forward, another nudge in the right direction.
Not flamboyant, but not apologetic and mostly ok.

I think mostly ok is good enough.
At least there's room for improvement!
