The great blizzard of 2010

Day two of being trapped by the mountains of snow outside.
I have just checked the traps in the back garden and I caught two magpies and a squirrel. We shall not go hungry just yet.
I have burned all the IKEA furniture to keep us warm. I found it doubly satisfying.
I waived good bye to Margaret next door as she set off on a food and toilet paper retrieving mission from the local Tesco. The sun is setting now and we have not heard back from her. It is said that death by polar bear is quick and (almost) painless. They don't waste any time and go straight for the jugular.
Anyway, I'd better go back to my maggers stew, I am down to my last bit of Billy bookcase to fuel the fire...
