Courtney has patiently waited for the day that her braces would be removed to have a photo session. That day came a couple weeks ago, and with sports and school, it's been hard to get together. Honestly, it would've probably been even longer, if she hadn't called me and begged to come over.

Once at the house, she promptly changed into different clothes and said "grab your camera Auntie, we're having a photo shoot". How can I resist? This girl stole my heart from the first time I held her in my arms only moments old.

She amazes me every day with her beauty, both inside and out. At only 14, she has society figured out, has a good head on her shoulders, is logical, smart, funny, caring and respectful. I am proud of the young woman she has become and love her with all my heart.
