Went to a property investment group this evening which was quite interesting. Like minded people trying to make money from property investing.

The guy who runs the group is quite interesting although I'm not sure if I agree with everything he says. He definitely knows his stuff, he knows the various techniques required for speculation, and he certainly knows the legal perils (keeping on the right side of the law).

Don't really agree with the idea that we should tell each other our deals we have going, he feels the people in the group should be open in their dealings. Hmmm, no thanks, I keep my deals close to my chest, and any strategy I have will not be discussed in the open with people I don't know, let alone trust.

Still a good evening and we signed up in the end. I'll be sending the wife each month whilst I'm away.
