The Lowlands

With the conference now behind me, I woke this morning to start my trek home. Overnight the pleasant weather turned and brought quite an attitude with it.

The slow suffering ride home was not the perfect ending to a glorious week, but it did bring reality back to my senses.

All mountains are surrounded by lowlands, and today they were over-crowded and wet ...flood warning wet.

I made the three hour trip in a stressed out four-and-a-half hours. But pulling into the driveway brought a smile moment to my afternoon ...lowlands and all.
