Off the beaten track

Photo tour cancelled I did my own walking tour and on route came across this lovely family playing cards.

They insisted I sit down and join them and were happy for me to take a couple if photos. 'The mum kept hold of the money pot in the teddy bear - the game was quite intense but they had lots of fun too. They offered me a can of sprite - the generosity if those who have little but are happy and welcoming, I left them with a couple of dollars which the daughter refused until I pressed it into her hands.. Such random moments like this are what travelling us all about..


Headed to the Russian market and found some good little souvenirs!!

Tonight met James another AFID volunteer, his flat mates and friends, saw a local rock group play - mixture of international covers and their own but good. Then watched the rugby in a sports bar where 90% of the watchers were French so proved an interesting experience! (Shame we lost it in the end!)
