Montgomery

We visited Montgomery today a quaint little town in Powys a mile from the English border. It has a ruined castle on top of a very high hill that we puffed up to see but it was worth it when we got there for the views all round.

This is a picture of Bonners the old fashioned hardware shop which is full to the brim with every thing you might need. I had been searching for potato baker spikes every where without success and they had sold out of them here but the very nice lady said she would order me some and send them in the post.
