Tate & Lyle Factory

This is the Tate & Lyle factory in Silvertown, taken from Woolwich. It is under threat of closure after 130 years due to EU rules restricting the volume of sugar cane imported. The EU rules state we must purchase sugar beet, grown in Europe.
