Panda?

I don't really know what this guy is. Some sort of alien panda I think. There's a tendency with any kind of media, visual or otherwise, to show only part of what is there in order to paint a certain picture. The BBC's news stories on Japan in fact are usually only about the crazy stuff that will entertain or shock and fit with the belief that some people have in the UK that the Japanese are all.....well frankly, quite nuts.
Bonkers if you will. It almost seems like a tradition to report in this way.
