Radial Multiplier
May 2014 Challenge - Multiple
This was Middleton Park this morning. There was a huge coal mine under the wood in this park, and the wheel is left from the wagons which used to transport the coal down to the city. Since the mine has gone, this has become a park.
The wheel struck me - undoubtably strong, and made of iron, this was designed to carry a lot of weight. The double spokes both increase the strength, and would provide an opportunity for counting in pairs, if you were so inclined. Its certainly easier to count the spokes if you multiply....
