My Clarice Cliffe cream jug

I bought it as part of a job lot in an auction in Kilmarnock in the early eighties. I was after a plastic vegetable rack, but also acquired an ebony rhinoceros. I still have the rhinoceros, but not the vegetable rack. My future wife, Ruth, pointed out that the wee jug was a Clarice Cliffe. 'Clarice who?' I said.
