Daisies

I really rather like daisies.
When my daughter was a baby her father and I used to sing 'Daisy daisy, give me your answer do' to her, and it mostly used to settle her.

The daisy is also the national flower of Danmark. My mother is Danish.

I wanted a simple blip for today, bcz it's a kind of sad day. 27 years ago today I was studying for my finals of a Genetics degree at Swansea University and I received a phonecall that no one ever wants to receive, to say that my father had died. I have had more of my life without him than with him.
