skating

we went for a walk on new years eve. out onto the frozen lake. we walked for quite a distance

so we decided we would skate out there the next day.

we skated pretty far, wind at our backs, but when it was time to turn around and have that cold air in your face/throat. it was so hard to get back

i have asthma and it only is ever effected by the cold. or working out hard. and since i don't work out, once i was in the cold it felt like i had swallowed barbed wire. that sucked. i had to keep stopping on the way back to breathe.

but all in all it was a nice little adventure.

amazing to be out in the middle of the lake. so weird.
