Loads of laundry

Seven 'loads in fact!

Spent most of the day moving washing from basket to machine and v.v. and marking English books. The children have written their own short stories in the style of Anthony Browne's book Voices in the Park, and the vast majority were brilliant. :) We've even managed some accompanying art-work, although my first ever dabble with pastels ended up with messy tables and an upset cleaner. Oh well!

Nice sunny day too. I did manage a quick coffee in the garden with a friend while H and her daughter were at drama. Oh, and a nice swim too.

PS Did I tell you about the babysitter we employe dlast night? Fell asleep on the job so H had to put herself to bed. Naming no names...!

PPS She had a fab time!
