PARK LIFE & BEYOND

Visited three places today, Otley first as the precious one wanted to put something into the nearly new shop, thankfully I didn't get caught up in the agricultural show traffic, then into Harrogate where we spent a very pleasant few hours sitting on The Stray & watching the world go by helped along by Ice Cream & Cinder Toffee.
After picking up some Salad leaves & whatnot it was a quick pot of well known tea & off to our final destination, The Moors above Blubberhouse's, my wife claps her hands and awaits an answer from the nesting Grouse, 'goback, goback' they shout in return, do you think their trying to tell her something! Never got a photo of the birds as intended so you'll find a set on Flickr including all three spots along the journey.
My first thought for todays blip was to find a field full of Buttercups & try to capture a sense of the good weather, never found a field (passed a lot but nowhere to park the car) so resulted in this one above taken where the council had left the verges uncut when mowing The Stray.
