our grapevines

In March these vines were twigs and no leaves, left from last season. My friend Ann Hall who designed our gardens for us reminded us that they had to get cut back in order to grow again. Two months later they are going crazy and have tons of grapes on them -just look at them!!!

It is lovely to sit in the shade of the leaves and look out over the water, check and see if Dave is coming by in his boat . . . . Steve is usually there pondering a boat or paddle project!
