~My New Car~

This morning Mike and I went and picked up my new car...It has so many gadgets I don't think I will ever learn how to work it.
Came home and Mike took a nap and I sat in the car for a few hours reading the manual and burning CD's to the hard drive.
This evening we volunteered as bartenders for a charity auction for Habitat for Humanity An organization that offers a hand-up, not a hand-out, to families striving for a path out of poverty. They work in partnership with low-income families to build simple, decent homes. People volunteer, donate, advocate, pray, and work in partnership with the community. With hands and hearts, hammers and nails, they are building a world where everyone has a safe, decent, affordable home.
