But there's no shortage of oil and gas platforms.

We set sail from Portsmouth at three yesterday. Glorious sunshine. Lots of people on the two little sandy beaches.

The Spinnaker and Gun Wharf Quays sparkled. Portsmouth is such a splendid blend of the very old and traditional and super modern.

A day at sea.

Can anyone venture a guess where we will be arriving at lunchtime tomorrow ?
