outside markies

I had a feeling we were going to have a good day at the stall outside markies today - it was sunny, loads of folk were out, there was a wee band playing, yes aberdeen were there and some pals came down to see us too. we spoke to some fine folk, lots coming over to show their support, many looking for more info and a few to challenge our message. I had a good conversation with a man that can't stand alex salmond and hopefully managed to convince him to reassess that as a reason to vote no! and lots of folk admiring the quines for indy paperweights I painted this week.

then the lorelei turned up with the live at captain tom's crew to promote their live music show on saturday 24th may from 10-12! you'll be able to watch that here next saturday morning and I'd highly recommend it since the lorelei will be playing. here they all are, on fine form promoting the show outside markies.

then home for the first barbecue of the year (it rained) with the martin's and a flying visit from jake 'n julie. a lovely saturday.
