Yellowhammer or in other words Emberiza citrinella

I've a lot of writing to do today! Thank goodness it's dull and cold outside so I wont get too resentful about having to be deskbound LOL! While I was breakfasting I saw this yellow hammer bouncing about on the patio and so rushed to set the camera up on the tripod. While I was doing that he jumped up onto the head of a stone pigeon and looked quite adorable against the chives behind him! He is therefore my blip for the day before I get down to work.
