Was teaching weight today

Thought all my activities for today's lesson were 'P1' bomb-proof....... How wrong could I be, even after all these years!!

Suppose I should have anticipated it.

Last week we were learning about length, and discussing why it is important to measure. We were also thinking about when we have seen people measuring the length of something......

Wee girl: My dad is making a fence for the garden and I've seen him measuring the wood.
Me: Well done. What a great example of when we measure. What would happen if he didn't measure the wood correctly?
Wee girl: My mum would go crazy!

Is that a wrong answer?????
