Tree House...

...this tree has been looking for a good home for ages. Must have found it, it certainly seems to be thriving in there!

Walked round Thruscross Reservoir this lovely sunny morning, not far from Harrogate. About 7K long through deciduous and pine woods and up onto the open moors.

Have always enjoyed this walk. Today we came across several dead animals, mainly rabbits and a few young ducklings. Also, on the open moorland there were quite a few smashed eggs, presumably those of ground nesting birds taken by predators. Such is the way of nature.

The highlight of the walk for me was hearing the cuckoo, first time this year!
