Meadow sweet (nope...cow parsley)

It's quite warm and windy here, and the greenery on the Water of Leith paths is going bonkers. This scene looks so verdant - it's hard to imagine it's bang smack in the middle of the Leith urban area and somewhere which was - until relatively recently - an industrial site.

Last night we went to see a gig: The Domestics - an Alt.Country band playing at the Dalriada in Portobello. It's led by the sister of a friend of mine and her husband, and it's just great. Stella has a brilliant voice and the song-writing's nae bad. Have a listen here or like them on Facebook if you want to know about their gig.

I also wonder how we have managed to miss the Dalriada for so long. A very quirky place.

Tonight's excitement is dinner out with an ex-judge. And I can assure you, that's quite exciting.

I'm reliably informed that this is cow parsley. Who cares?
