Purple Haze

Didn't think I had any of the purple aquilegia - but there they are growing in abundance! The song title also brought back memories of my youth (link - playing while I type).
It's a lovely, lovely day - sunshine, bread making, washing (OK not so lovely but statisfying when done), all ready for a BBQ tonight (roasting a leg of lamb ... currently marinading in honey, garlic and rosemary), and already packed as I'm off back to Cornwall tomorrow for a week with Julie. Every time I go I get as excited as a child ... we're going to the seaside!
