A Little bit Thrifty today

We went to Nairn at lunchtime today and parked up and walked west for a change in the Fort George direction. The beach at this part consisted of red stone rockpools that didn't look very picturesque. However after a while when the clouds were getting darker and darker we turned and head back , now going east and I did spot all this Thrift just above the beach growing in the grass and rocks. So I thought it would help make a photo with the sea and ships behind. I hope it worked Everything else was rather drab. When we got home half an hour later, the rain came on!
