Red letter day

After an exchange of cards for our wedding anniversary, and a lazy breakfast, we popped down to the local fete today. It was good in the reassuringly amateurish way these things often are. This cheerful chap was in the Red Rose Brass/Jazz band.

We followed this with a great lunch at Cuckoo, a new local bistro, al fresco dining in beautiful sunshine.
