Bad tempered meeting

Busy day today, lots happened.

Work ok but only just, lovely cuppa, cake and chat with Shirley at lunchtime, home to do final prep for Parish Meetings.

Annual Meeting of the Parish Council at 7pm, all good and went as planned.
Annual Parish Meeting at 8pm, guest speaker from EW Rail drops bombshell (for some members of Parish) that the single track rail line running through the village may be doubled.........homes at risk (ours included) people angry, speaker unable to give answers, speaker gets cross. Situation calmed by representative of Bucks CC. Our little village is being bombarded by HS2, EW Rail and a new district local plan which sees upgrade of roads (more houses at risk)............this year is not a good one and I could have well done without this little extra!
