Subdued Sunday.....

Had a rare lie-in, due to staying the night in Glasgow.

Breakfast was some Dear Green coffee, home-made bread, home-made rhubarb and ginger jam, and a poached egg.

Fortified, I headed on home, and then spent the afternoon with Iain and the girls out at the Secret Herb Garden, at Damhead.

What a great place. Loads of herbs to look at, smell, and decide to buy, as well as great coffee and amazing cakes. We sampled some chocolate, almond and aubergine cake, as well as a beautiful honey cake. The girls played in the wigwag in the middle of the greenhouse, while we slumped on large, battered settees, drank coffee, listened to classical music and enjoyed the peacefulness of the afternoon.

Thankful for a day off tomorrow. The mission is to find a dress for a wedding. I really hope it doesn't take all day.....
