Bluebells last stand

A very rewarding day spent in the garden. I took a break this afternoon to visit nearby Binny Plants, the local nursery where I buy most of the new plants for the garden. Binny incidentally specialise in Paeonis and are currently exhibiting at the Chelsea Flower Show.

I bought some campanulas, both blue and white, and one or two other bits and pieces but afterwards I couldn't resist a walk along a nearby woodland path where I found the bluebells were making their last stand for the year. I found this clump beside an old bench, quite handy for a momentary pause in the woods to listen to the birdsong.
