What a scorcher!

Wow! fab way to end the holiday's with a birthday celebration for my Niece.

The weather has been fantastic so a party in the back garden was ideal. We all got dressed in our party gear and headed over first thing this morning.

It was so hot we decided to get the paddling pool out for the girls. We put it at the bottom of the slide.....well it kept them occupied for hours. They absolutely loved it!

Up, down, splash. Up, down, splash and repeat!

Grandad and uncle B joined in the fun with the water pistols and Mr J was helping the girls find ever more increasingly wacky ways to come down the slide. Backwards, forwards, head first, even on an inflatable surf board! P grew in confidence with each slide and you would never guess she isn't a big fan of water.

There was a break in the activities after lunch for some present opening and some cake eating then it was straight back outside again.
