A bobby dazzler!

Glorious weather.
Lots of gulls and geese nesting and young ones just hatched.
A swan on it's nest, ( see blip folio and you can see the huge eggs!)

Highlight of the day was a Red-necked Phalarope.
A rare bird. Too far away to take a good photo.
It's a good job there were experts to point it out, as we would never have known !!

But for me, I still love the avocets, and this one with the sparkling water was my favourite photo of the day.
