Craft Project

We took the kids to my parents' house today to hang out and play and watch some SpongeBob SquarePants.

While the kids were running around, my sister-in-law and I made Thanksgiving turkeys to use as examples in my Mom's classroom. I'd made some many years ago, and they were all faded and falling apart so she'd requested new ones.

I made this chef turkey, complete with apron, cooking pot, and cookbook. We also had a cowgirl turkey (hat, boots, lasso and huge belt buckle) as well as a geek turkey (with iPod, kneesocks, and glasses).

My niece made a ballerina turkey, which is very cute and will be able to be displayed once all that glue dries.
