Recovery Mission

After a nice lazy morning (at least it was for me!) we were back working at the allotment this afternoon. I'd invested in a new strimmer which seems to do the business and is a definite improvement on chopping grass by hand with the shears. The cuce and squash seedlings have been planted out too soon so S was doing a bit of a recovery job, watering and covering with some makeshift mini cloches. Too late for some but the others have a better chance now. In the meantime I got the first lot of spuds planted. The others have still got a bit if chitting to go so they get to stay in the shed for another wee while yet.
