Giant glass flower welcomes us in ...

It was great that P joined us for another fascinating bookclub evening. He's not been part of the group for a while ... but it is great that he was there talking about 'Daughters of Mars'. Such a moving book about a terrible time.

Today has been a productive day with lovely weather - back yard cleared, weeds and grotty old white plastic table off the tip ... then a trip to Barton Grange to think about a new table. This enormous glass alium (is it?) was there to greet us. Didn't find a table but sat awhile on a fab, stylish and comfy bench. Should we???

We also met P's former singing teacher .. who, like me, thinks he should be sharing his wonderful tenor voice with the public once again. I wonder if June's advice will be more persuasive than mine.
