The Wall
This shot shows more detail of the wall through which the enormous bush was growing. You can see where the branches and trunks are sticking out how much it has lifted the wall - the rest of it is the same height as the part on the left. The people next door were attacking it with a chainsaw and a pickaxe. Their blows probably registered on the Richter Scale - we could certainly feel them vibrating through the garden.
What we really need to do is dismantle the wall from the top, stone by stone, cut the rest of the tree out and then rebuild; but this would be terribly time consuming and probably extremely expensive, so we'll keep cutting bits out and repair the wall when we have cleared as much as we can.
