Sunday habit

Third sunday in a row…..
Its been a busy day. Had planned in just getting a few things for the garden and then planting them, but the days itinerary went wrong very early on.

Was walking Tilling first thing (about 9 - thats the earliest Sundays start isn't it), when, for no apparent reason, she squealed out in pain, stopped, lifted a paw and looked very sorry. No sign of anything stuck. A very very slow walk back the short distance home. No reason to suspect anything broken so it was either muscular or more likely a joint. A couple of hours later she'd descended into full blown lameness in her hind quarters. Another weekend call to the emergency vet ensued, but thankfully he suggested its likely to be a joint problem. A pain killer was suggested to see if a few hours rest improved things. Thankfully it has.

Anyhow, all that has compressed the rest of the day leaving no free time until late, when, while tidying up, I noticed the evening sun falling on the trusty lilac tree (again). So, on the basis that something is better than nothing, this is what we've got today - again.

Third sunday in a row the lilac has featured. Shameful!
