Conundrum

What to do first? And when?
I spent the day thinking about how to finish the basement space which I have been told is "mine and mine alone".
Once I do decide how to do things, I won't be doing it myself, after all why do things half arsed in 5 weeks when you can do it properly in one or two days?. But that doesn't come cheap.
That's why I need to think about it a lot more.
