"Blue Fly to Tower...Come in Tower!"

I've tentatively identified these flies enjoying this Easter Lily as of the C0ndylostylus species of the Condylostylid Long-legged Flies. In this wide-ranging genus there are more than 40 species, which evidently, only a specialist of the Entomologist kind can identify! They are found all over the U.S. and their life cycles are "incompletely known".

Most likely the above is much more than you need or care to know about this insect ;)
