Waterloo Sunset (not really)
We had a great walk with Andy and Emma this morning around the delights of Richmond. First through Old Deer Park then down to the river for a walk along the bank to a Fairtrade café set in beautiful gardens for coffee.
From there we walked into town and back home for lunch in their small terraced garden.
After lunch we took off for the South Bank for a wander, looked at the large amount of second hand book stalls under the bridge then into the Royal Festival Hall for a cup of tea.
We walked across Hungerford Bridge to Charing Cross Station then crossed Trafalgar Square to catch the bus to Marylebone Station for our train home.
The photo is a classic shot of Waterloo Bridge with St Pauls and City of London buildings in the background.
Here's The Kinks for those of you too young to remember.
