Actually was a bodysurfing championship taking place today at Sandy Beach - too bad, two days ago would have been fantastic! But, not too bad for today. Trophies were the rip curl in wood - impressive. Today signs posted were "strong current", "dangerous shorebreak" and "high surf" - just to cover all the bases.
That grey line of clouds above translated into rain from Diamond Head back into town. It's a typical kona kind of day, hot, muggy and pretty much windless. Gorgeous colours tho . . .
