The finish line

Today I did the Windermere marathon. I'm not a fast runner, previous marathon times have been 4.11 & 4.30. I was really unprepared for how hilly this one was, which meant I couldn't get a good running rhythm going. It was also very hot. Which is a roundabout way of leading up to telling you my time of 5.13. Looking around the people I finished with, this seems about right, I was 566th out of about 1000. Despite it not being a good time, I really enjoyed just doing it.
