Picnic Selfie
We spent the morning at home, lots of playtime for Orla and Conor and resting on the couch time for me as I am smitten with Conor's cold. Orla read us a Mister Man book, almost completely unaided.
We packed a picnic lunch and headed up to the Tak Ma Doon road car park to eat it and gaze out over Central Scotland. Conor was asleep to begin with, so Orla got to sit in the front on my knee. We had some interesting chat about how sound travels. Once Conor woke up she had to make way for him, so she sat on her dad's knee.
Here's a video of Orla trying to explain 'sound'.
After the picnic, we went to the playground at the Colzium. They both had an absolute ball. Orla tried to make friends as usual, but with varying degrees of success. Some kids are really unpleasant; fortunately it goes over Orla's head. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, so never anticipates anyone else will either. Hope that continues for as long as possible.
Ed is back to Bristol tomorrow and I am going to Belfast for the day. We both have an early start for the airport, so Orla and Conor are staying with Gran and Papa tonight.
