Ambitions of something bigger
I'm finally back in the U.K after 20 days and quite a long tiring 3 flight journey. I rarely sleep on the plane and this trip was no exception so I was beyond exhausted by the time I got back to the flat. It was a bit of a shock to see the difference seasonally between Scotland and Canada. The trees here are full of leaves, the weather is warmer and the flowers are in full bloom. In contrast the warm breezes of spring have been held back in Canada, I left it with only small buds just appearing on the trees and grass that was just starting to turn green. I took a few photos, but really my mind was still partially in Canada so this photo represents my memories of time well spent with my family. My father has skillfully built this model boat with ambitions of reproducing it in a size big enough to sail. He was trying to complete it before I left and almost did except for one sail. I think he did a darn good job of it!
