Pastor Borgie Visits

We were pleasantly surprised today when church started. We weren't sure why he was there instead of our regular pastor, but instead of seeing Pastor Dan's ever smiling face in front, there sat our now retired pastor from our old church "down the hill." When he had the chance explained what was going on. Pastor Borgie, would old pastor from PLC was a guest pastor covering for Pastor Dan, who was at PLC for the day. Not to guest preach, but to attend his grandchild's baptism. You see Pastor Dan's son is the associate pastor at PLC. What a treat for Pastor, and for us too.

This photo is typical Pastor Borgie, doing a children's sermon to the young (and young at heart) we were very familiar with. He had his stuffed caterpillar that unfolds to a butterfly. We must have seen this sermon well over a dozen times during our tenure at PLC, and enjoyed it every time. Thanks for the visit, Pastor B. You're welcome any time. (Not that we're looking to replace Dan... We LOVE Dan. We just love Pastor B too.)
