Another pub goes off the rails?

This was our local pub, The Harwood which sits beside the railway in Pannal.

It was formerly the station building prior to being coverted to a pub in the early 1980s.

Sadly it has recently closed and Greene King have now sold it. Unfortunately, rumour has it that the building may be converted into a convenience supermarket. Several other pubs in the area have succumbed to the same fate in recent years - another sad casualty of the decline in the number of village pubs.
