My Street

apart from houses and phone lines this is the other sign of 'civilisation' on my street.

Liked the red against the white and green.

Just spoken to mum and dad has to have his pacemaker fitted again! The surgeon phoned them about six this evening. I know there was a lot of pulling and pushing last time he had it done as a 'trainee' did the work and the outcome is that one of the wires into his heart isn't in the right place or is lose. Dad took the phone call and since his stroke he's not that great with his words so they'll know more when the time comes for the op. They spent last Friday in A&E as they thought he had another stroke but it turned out to be a migraine, they suggested he had his eyes tested which he did on Saturday and he is now waiting for an appointment to have a cataract removed that the eye test discovered. So mum isn't feeling left out she is having a biopsy on a sore patch on her tongue this Thursday. She says it doesn't hurt unless she eats certain things or talks too much, as you can imagine Geoff told her the solution to stopping it hurting!

Other than that a quiet day :-)
