Gone too soon

I like football, I like golf, I like NFL, I like cycling.
I love motorcycle racing.

As much as I love motorcycle racing, I hate days like today.
Constantly checking the websites: no news is good news right?
Then the headline that suddenly just makes your stomach drop.

I never knew Simon, never even met him.
I only ever watched him race.
