Moonflower Pod

An experiment in macro, using an old 55 2.8 Nikkor micro lens on the Panasonic GF1. The aperture doesn't show in the metadata, but this was shot at f11. Attempts were made at f8 through f32, with f11 giving the best results.

The seeds in the pod will be planted this spring. For the gardeners out there, I highly recommend this vine. The blooms are saucer sized, open in the evening, and produce an aroma that you really need to experience.
