Yellow Duck

Yes, it is one of the Yellow Ducks but it is very special in that it has our Language Centre's symbol on and was a top award to a lady who was brave (and competent) enough to say some Chinese expressions! She's never learned it before but with online flashcards that I designed, she amazing could utter the sounds correctly at a good speed :-).

We had two formal rounds of presentation and language taster sessions, with some small talks when people came around. It was interactive and engaging. The participants liked it, as we could tell :-).

We also enjoyed contributing to the University's Learn at Work Week event!
